*Children will connect with the biblical story of how
Zacchaeus’s life was changed when he met Jesus.
*We will discover ways knowing Jesus can change us.
May 11, 2008 – Peter at Pentecost
Acts 2:1-42
*Children will connect with the biblical story of how, with
the coming of the Holy Spirit, Peter changed from a
frightened disciple to a bold preacher.
*We will recognize that the Holy Spirit empowers us to do
great things in the name of Jesus.
May 18, 2008 – Paul
Acts 9:1-19
*Children will connect with the biblical story of how God
turned Paul’s life around and set him on a new path.
*Children will recognize that when Jesus is present in our
lives, God can change us for the better.
May 25, 2008 – Lydia
Acts 16:11-15
*Children will connect with the biblical story of how Lydia
believed in Jesus.
*We will hear that Lydia used her skills and resources to
help spread the gospel.
*Children will discover ways we can use our skills and
resources to help spread the gospel. |
