Looking for a way for faith and Scripture to to burst
forth from text to brilliant colors, and places you could
see and feel come alive? I think it can!
A Pilgrimage could be defined as a long journey made to a
holy place as a religious act. A tourist on the other hand
is one who travels for pleasure and sight-seeing. I arrived
in Israel the first time as a tourist, but soon realized
that this experience is a pilgrimage in the very deepest
sense of the word. As I have planned my return for the
fourth time, I have many insights and experiences that I
have pieced together to make this a pilgrimage that will be
a great source of spiritual nurture for me and all who
participate.
Much more than a vacation, this trip will offer a
tremendous spiritual experience to walk where Jesus and the
first disciples walked (they completed the first 34 week
course!). And as we walk, the pages of Scripture will truly
come alive in a way that will change our lives forever.
Departing from Chicago, the trip will leave Tuesday,
February 3, 2009 and will return on Thursday February 12,
